Our Training Unit                                 

we provide training courses in clinical psychology that aim at giving psychology undergraduate, graduating seniors and fresh graduates the opportunity to learn about the mental health field.

Our courses

Training Program in Clinical Psychology: The training program in clinical psychology is a short program that runs for two months. It aims at teaching skills that are used in dealing with patients in a clinical setting including conducting psychometric assessment, psychosocial interview, learning to diagnose mental disorders based on the DSM-IV, as well as counselling skills and skills for running group therapy sessions using different therapeutic approaches.

 Course Dates


This course runs three times a year(quarterly). It is a two month course that take place at the Counseling Unit twice a week (Sundays – Tuesdays) from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 


Requirements   


Applicants for this course MUST be majoring in Psychology.
